Community Property Trusts
A Community Property Trust is a company which is owned by its community. It allows villages and small towns to own land as a community, and to use it for the benefit of the community. For example, they can:
build housing for local people who cannot afford high property prices
build workspaces for businesses, to provide jobs for local people
start catering or other food businesses, using local food and supplying local schools
let farms they own to small organic farmers
